Maternal mortality remains a challenge in many rural areas. Sita previously suffered a miscarriage due to lack of antenatal care. During her recent pregnancy, she was closely monitored by KMTF nurses at a local health outpost built by the foundation. During delivery, complications arose, but our fully equipped emergency response team was able to perform necessary interventions safely.

Sita and her newborn baby boy are now healthy and thriving. She actively volunteers to encourage other pregnant women in her village to attend regular health check-ups.

When Asha was first identified by our medical team during a rural health camp, she was severely malnourished and weak. Her family struggled with access to proper healthcare and nutritious food. Through our health sector intervention, Asha received regular check-ups, therapeutic food supplements, and her mother was enrolled in our nutritional awareness workshops.

Today, Asha is a healthy, energetic child who has just started primary school. Her story is a testament to the life-changing impact of timely medical intervention and community support.
